Hace demasiado que no le presto atención a este blog, pobrecito, lo tengo olvidado. Bueno, pero acá vlví y voy a tratar de tenerlo lo más actualizado posible. Por el lado bueno, estuve haciendo un montón de cosas nuevas que voy a ir mostrando de a poquito.
Acá va la primera, mi bandeja Helvetica. Estoy esnamorada de mi bandeja...no será mucho?
It's been too long since I've paid any attention to this blog, poor thing, I have abandoned it. Anyway, I'm back and I'm going to try to keep it as updated as I possibly can. On the bright side, I've been making a bunch of new things that I will gradually show you.
Here is the first one, my Helvetica tray. I'm in love with mytray...too much?
Fue bastante fácil de hacer. Primero, me compré una bandeja en una fábrica de fibrofácil. Después, la pinté de turquesa, mi color preferido en el mundo! Agarré la compu y escribí el abecedario en Helvetica en un montón de tamaños distintos y los corté uno por uno (me volví un poquito chifle haciendo esto). Por último, pegué todas las letras haciendo decoupage y lo barnicé con barníz satinado.
Voilá! Una bandeja RE canchera!
It was pretty easy to make. First, I bought a tray at an mdf factory. Then, I painted it turquoise, my favorite color in the world! I took my computer and wrote the alphabet in Helvetica in many different sizes and I cut each letter one by one with an x-acto knife (I went a little crazy doing this). Lastly, I stuck each letter with some decoupage goo, (we don't have Modge Podge in Argentina so I make my own with white glue and some water, works like a charm) and I varnished it with matte varnish.
Voilá! A super cool tray!
