Me estuve desviando de la deco un ratito para hacer algunas alhajas y experimentar con géneros. Primero, hice un collar de tres vueltas con hilo de seda y otro más oscuro de algodón. Me encanta este collar, pero admito que tengo que hacerle algunos retoques en el enganche con el cierre.
Después, me dediqué a hacer un montón de flores yo-yo con diferentes géneros y los junté en dos collares / pecheras. El otro día me puese uno de estos collares y estaba regia! Los yo-yos son lo más fácil del mundo de hacer y por eso, estoy inundando mi casa de estas peculiares florcitas.
Además de estas flores, descubrí otras formas de manipular géneros, pero esos se los muestro otro día.

I took a detour from decor for a while to make some jewelry and experiment with fabric. First, I made a 3-strand necklace by knotting silk threatd and a darker shade of grey thread. I love this necklace but I admit that I have to fix the part where the neckalce meets the ribbon.
Then, I made a bunch of yo-yo flowers with different fabrics and I sew them together to make 2 different bib necklaces. The other day I wore one of them and I looked fantastic! The yo-yos are the easiest thing in he world to make and I'm flooding my home with these peculiar little flowers.
Besides this technique, I discovered other ways of manipulating fabric, but I will show you that some other day.
